Graduation 28 September
On the 28 th of September 2017 The College held its 3 rd Annual Graduation at Msobomvu Community Hall, Butterworth. The prestigious event was officially opened by the Council Chair-person Mr Thabo Masombuka. Around 1200 students from NCV and Report 191 walked up the stage to receive their Certificates and Diplomas, respectively. The morning session had about 272 graduates whilst the afternoon boasted around 820 graduands. Hundreds of parents and guardians dared the cold weather, with some driving from outside the province to see their children get capped. Guest speakers Mrs Mashiyi (morning) and DR Sifumba (afternoon) both congratulated, encouraged and motivated the graduands to do best even after completing their qualifications.
Top achievers from all five campuses each received prizes in the form of Tablet mobile devices. Certificates were also issued out for those that received DISTINCTIONS. The Xhosa King, Zwelonke Sigcau (ahh! Zwelonke) also gave words of wisdom to the newly grads ready to infiltrate the work place. We would like to wish all the newly graduates all the best for the future and may they make the King Hintsa TVET College Community more proud.
